PHNOM PENH, Sept. 8 (Xinhua) -- Cambodia and the Philippines on Monday signed three documents, promoting bilateral cooperation in air connectivity, higher education, and combating cross-border crime.
Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet and visiting Philippine President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos witnessed the signing ceremony of the documents after their bilateral meeting at the Peace Palace in Phnom Penh.
Both sides also pledged to further enhance cooperation across multiple sectors covering trade and investment, economic operation and people-to-people connectivity, Hun Manet said after the event.
"Cambodia stands ready to be a reliable partner in contributing to the Philippine food security," Hun Manet added.
Marcos arrived in Phnom Penh on Sunday for a three-day visit. ■
