NEW DELHI, Sept. 8 (Xinhua) -- Two militants were killed and two soldiers of the Indian army wounded Monday in a fierce gunfight in the restive Indian-controlled Kashmir, police said.
The gunfight broke out inside the Guddar forest of Kulgam district, about 75 km south of Srinagar, the summer capital of Indian-controlled Kashmir.
According to an Indian army spokesperson, the wounded soldiers were evacuated from the spot and admitted to the hospital. ■
